Tony V. Lidgett was born and raised in Bakersfield, graduating with honors at California State University Bakersfield, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Mr. Lidgett receives his Law Degree from California Pacific School of Law, graduating Cum Laude, and a recipient of West Law Scholar Award.
Lidgett spent over ten (10) years in the Kern County Public Defense Office, spending over nine (9) years in the practice of criminal felonies, and spending several years as one of the Designated Attorneys performing trials for clients charged with murder, three (3) strikes, and numerous violent and serious felonies. Mr. Lidgett established an impressive trial record completing over twenty-five (25) murder cases assigned, with all murder clients being acquitted on either 1st or 2nd degree murder.
Tony continues to tackle complex criminal matters, with a tremendous success rate. Mr. Lidgett remains closely tied to the community he was raised being a board member on numerous local foundations, as well as coaching youth sports.
